Rand Soler is a writer and artist living in the American Pacific Northwest. His work explores the intersection of art, science, and life on this small orb we call Earth, a backwater planet in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. Between his writing gigs, he works with fusion art, melding together painting, digital art, and photography.
Themes in Rand’s work range from exploring the nature of sapient life in soft science fiction to reveling in the delightfully human eccentricities that make us each unique people. He often co-authors with Y.A. Picker.
Rand publishes weekly (or more) on the ArcheanWeb and ArcheanArt platforms writing articles on earth science, art, politics, and the absurdities of the daily news. If you are a science geek, check out the Forgotten Origins Series on ArcheanWeb to trace life’s journey over the past 4.5 billion years.
